TRCs (textile reinforced concrete) are composite materials with properties optimized to meet the needs of today’s designers.

The field of research invests in several directions in order to improve the physical and mechanical properties of these materials, intended in particular for interior partitions but also for the facade panels of buildings.

Thus, MDB Texinov® is currently supporting a doctoral thesis (ENISE / LTDS) aimed at characterizing sandwich panels with a new-generation TRC skin using a multi-scale approach.
